2. Bill of Materials Tab: The add-on introduces an additional Bill Of Materials tab within the product data section of every WooCommerce post type. This tab allows you to specify the raw materials and product parts required to create a single stock unit, with a quick and user-friendly auto-search feature for setting BOM quantities.
3. Raw Material & Product Part: Two new post types are created within the WooCommerce product data section: Raw Material, Variable Raw Material, Product Part, and Variable Product Part. These post types cover raw materials and product parts, which are crucial indicators of profitability. For example, in a business selling birthday cards, the cards themselves are considered finished products (controlled by Stock Central), while the paper, ink, decorative bows, vouchers, and packaging materials are classified as raw materials and product parts. The flexibility is enhanced with the introduction of Variable BOM.
4. Product Data: Within the General Tab, users can add not only regular and sale prices but also purchase prices for each product post type. The purchase price can be utilized in the full ATUM inventory management, including Stock Central and Purchase Orders. Additionally, the BOM Inventory tab is added to each product post type to specify the required bill of materials.
5. Auto Purchase Price Sync: The Bill of Materials Tab allows you to activate automatic purchase price generation. With this feature, any price changes made to the product or BOM higher in the hierarchy will be updated automatically, ensuring consistency in pricing.
