Enhance your website’s performance with the WP Grid Builder Caching add-on, designed to significantly speed up loading times when filtering grids or templates. This powerful tool boosts performance by caching queried content and facets in a custom table, ensuring a smoother and faster user experience.
Key Features:
- Cache Content for All Asynchronous Requests: Automatically cache responses for all asynchronous requests made to your grids and facets, reducing load times.
- Individual Cache Management: Clear the cache on specific pages as needed, allowing for precise control over content updates without impacting other areas.
- Global Cache Clearing: Easily clear the cache for all pages at once, ensuring that any major changes across your site are reflected immediately.
- Exclude Facets or Grids from Cache: Customize your caching strategy by excluding certain grids or facets from being cached, providing flexibility in content delivery.
- Control Cache Lifespan: Manage how long the cached content remains valid, allowing you to balance performance with the need for up-to-date information.
- WP-CLI Command Support: Utilize WP-CLI commands for advanced cache management, making it easier for developers and site administrators to control caching operations from the command line.
Usage:
After activating the Caching add-on, a new “Caching” menu will appear in the global settings of WP Grid Builder. Additionally, an admin bar menu will be available for quick cache clearing. By default, all requests from your grids and facets are cached. However, you can easily exclude specific grids and facets from caching through the global settings.
Important Recommendations:
To optimize caching effectiveness, it is recommended to exclude Search facets from the cache. This is to prevent the caching of an infinite number of results, as the filtering combinations with search facets can be endless, potentially leading to outdated or incorrect content being displayed.
With the WP Grid Builder Caching add-on, you can enjoy enhanced site performance, quicker response times, and a better overall user experience without compromising content accuracy.
